I read this after reading Upgrade Soul, wondering if I could get even more insight into Daniels' thought process with that book. More than anything, this showed me the extensive lengths that he has gone to researching empathy and the way its impacted by wealth, race, and inequality. While there isn't a "narrative" to this book, I do find the way it acknowledges narrative to be fascinating, and its encouragement of people narrativising their lives in a positive manner. I love his color palettes through this, and found it his drawings to have clever interactions with the text. This is a small detail, but the physical shape and structure of the book is very pleasing to interact with.

It takes less than 10 minutes to read, but there are some heady ideas in here.
