Looks like my 3 stars is lower than average for reviews of this book. I thought it was ok and kind of predictable, but a good diversion during winter storm Ulmer this week. (Where did they come up with that name?)

3.5 stars. Read it due to the HLHS storyline. Too wildly unbelievable for me. Something about it just didn’t sit right. That being said, couldn’t put it down…had to see what happened! An emotional read at times, too, so clearly a talented author. Just not a favorite overall.

A very unique read!

I have had very good luck with this author. I like her writing, character development and the topics she chooses. And her storytelling is fantastic!

This wasn't necessarily a suspenseful read but it really held me captive and kept my attention throughout the book. There is a time travel element, which is very well done, and only adds to the story. It is not overly complicated or science fiction-y- so don't let that deter you from reading this.

Overall, this is a great read that will appeal to a variety of readers.

"If I've learned anything in the last day, though, it was that the love of a mother could make a hero out of an everyday woman."

This book blew my socks off!!! It just grabs a hold of your heart, squeezes, and doesn't let go until the very end. I will admit that I'm not normally one to read books involving time travel. Those books really are not my cup of tea, they tend to be more sci-fi. This book is nothing like that. I kept seeing all these glowing, raving reviews of how incredible this book is so I wanted to give it a try. I am so glad I did. This book is breathtakingly beautiful. I just loved, loved, loved it!!! This was such a unique story that takes you on a rollercoaster of a journey. I was literally holding my breath until the last page. This was my first book by Diane Chamberlain and I'm excited to check out her other work. This book is not just a pleasure to read, it's an amazing experience. You will not be able to put this one down!!!

My thanks to Diane Chamberlain, St. Martin's Press, and Netgalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Right in the feels. I don't know if I was crying tears of joy, or tears of sadness. Many times I literally felt as if I had been punched in the guy

I picked this up not knowing the plot .... And time travel is not my cup of tea. That being said, I really enjoyed the first half of the book. I felt the second half to be way more unbelievable, and I really started to dislike the main character. I stuck it out thinking I'd only give it 3 stars, but after some unexpected twists and the wrap it up with a bow ending, I'll settle for 4 stars. It makes me want to go back and reread the Time Traveler's Wife.

[a:Diane Chamberlain|93345|Diane Chamberlain|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1366490290p2/93345.jpg] does it once again. I don't know how she manages to come up with these stories.

This is a story one a mother's love that knows no bounds. It was a love that would do anything to save her child. I have never before been a fan of books that involved time-travel but Diane Chamberlain has changed all of that.

This is a beautifully written story that I could not put down. I read it in less than 2 1/2 days because I had to know what happened to this family.

I received an ARC from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
