Not as much fun as the first, but I will probably break down and buy the third if it's not available via any of the three separate holds I have on it.

Jacobin dragons for life.

Книга, в която кравите и овцете растат като трева и са нискокалорични. Нещо като тапас.

A great sequel! A sometimes slow, sometimes exciting trip to China to beg for the use of Temeraire. I don't think the Chinese Prince's hate for westerners was done well enough so it led to a bit of a speedy climax. I hate that W. Laurence didn't even try to learn the language or writing even when he thought he might have to stay in China for years and it meant so much to Temeraire. Like he didn't even think to try - that's how set he was on leaving as fast as possible. They also act like they won't come back even though Temeraire will outlive Laurence so he easily could. Otherwise it was pretty good, loved the change in scenery although not a full blown action book.
