Ok, so I actually didn't finish this book. It didn't grip me and I didn't feel like I was getting more from this book. Though maybe I would have if I hadn't already been moved by other introvert centered books like Quiet.

I looooved this book! It was fascinating to read a book written from the Asian perspective, and translated from Taiwanese accordingly; I really felt that enhanced Chang's message and brought a uniqueness and freshness to it compared to those well-known in the American book industry today.

At least one of the books Chang recommends isn't yet translated--I'm really hopeful that comes down the pike here soon, as I'd love to read it!

The bibliography at the end is super helpful, too, and I'm excited to add more books to my TBR pile.
