Man, there was A LOT of sex in this one! At the most absurd times! I get that that was her way of dealing with any complex emotions, but come on! I just finally had to start skimming through the page-after-page of sex scenes.

Stacey Kennedy is becoming one of my must read authors. This is my second series I've read of hers and I've loved everything I've read so far. Restrained Under His Duty is book three in a set of standalone series that focus on each couple but connect all books in a bigger plot. I would recommend starting with book 1.

The bigger plot is about a group of friends and secret business partners in a sex club that have been targeted. They've discovered that someone is spying on them and feeding personal information about them to the tabloids. They need to find this person before their involvement or the member of the sex club gets exposed.

In this book, Ryder and the Senator's daughter, Hadley are being targeted. Ryder is the Senators head of security and in love with Hadley but will not give in to his attraction due to his sense of honor. When Ryder is threatened with a leak of a video of her to ruin her fathers career, Ryder can no longer stay away.

Ryder might have just become my favorite in this series. He's very honorable and his need to protect Hadley showed how much he really loves her. Hadley, despite putting herself in compromising situations (Senator's daughter, hello???) is a heroine I enjoyed reading about. She was upfront and honest about what she wanted from Ryder. Dealing with his constant rejection and pain from a past trauma is how she got her self in these compromising situations.

The plot was fast paced and had me hooked. I really enjoy a good suspense storyline when you can't predict what's going to happen next. I'm really looking forward to Gabes book next. ARC provided by Netgalley.

This is one of those series that I just can not help but fall in love with. With each book, I find myself even more addicted to the character and their stories.

Restrained Under His Duty is the third book in the Dirty Little Secrets Series and can be read as a stand alone novel. Restrained Under His Duty follows the story of Ryder and Hadley. Hadley has wanted Ryder for as long as she can remember. Even back when they were little kids, she knew that one day Ryder would be the man that she married. But there is just one problem. Ryder is her father’s bodyguard. Despite the intense attraction that they feel for one another, nothing can ever come of it. Restrained Under His Duty was a fabulous read. In fact, I think it’s my favorite of the series so far. I fell in love with the story-line and the forbidden aspect right away. From the moment we first see Hadley and Ryder together, there is some serious sexual tension. Add in some blackmail, a sex tape, and some government corruption and you’ve got yourself one thrilling read. This book had it all. From mystery to suspense to danger and unexpected twists. To delicious sexual tension and unforgettable sexy encounters. This book had it all. I loved every single moment of this story from beginning to end and enjoyed trying to solve the mystery along with our main characters.

Restrained Under His Duty was a thrilling and exciting read. It is a wonderful addition to this series and I’m very much looking forward to seeing where this series will go next.

Book 3 of the series did not disappoint.

Hadley and Ryder's story is perfect for them. A good bodyguard to lovers story. While the love part was quick when it happened, It totally worked and even better a good bit of story left for these two.

I really thought I had the "who done it" figured out, and was pleasantly surprised that I was wrong. I did not see that turn of events take place, nor what happens after with Senator Winters.

Now for book 4 to find out about Gabe.

Loved it,this is the third book in the series and while it can be read as a standalone i think its best to read in order.I just loved getting to know Ryder and Hadley and really enjoyed their story this is a fantastic read its well written with a great plot and wonderful characters i would recommend this series

Ryder was the perfect alpha male - strong, sexy, wealthy, ruthless if necessary but dedicated to his friends and employees. He's the character that kept me engaged in this story!

Hadley was a bit too immature for me (a little too "star-struck" with Ryder) but the rest of the characters were really likeable! Story moves along well and provides continuity if you've been reading the series, but again, if you haven't, you will still enjoy this.

I recommend the entire series!

Gawd this author writes hot shit. And good stories... let's not forget about the actually story. But seriously, hot shit.

I also love bodyguard/security heroes. They make me swoon.

Sometimes the trope works, but the words on the page dont. Sometimes the sex is hot, but the plot is boring or unoriginal. Sometimes the H sucks ass or the heroine is super annoying. NONE of that is true with this book! It all works together. It all fits together. You will be entertained for the entire book. Ms Kennedy can write amazing stories. I am not sure why I haven't read every one of them.

If you don't mind the bdsm world, I'd dive right into this series. Wow.

So many unexpected twists! Thank you for weaving this story. Ryder, the sexy bodyguard and so much more. Hadley, she's anything but a little princess, yet she is the senator's daughter. That makes her off limits, but the chemistry is to much for them to fight. Caught in the crosshairs of a blackmail scheme that is deeper than at first glance they come together. Can they last through the crisis?
Definitely worth the read to find out and a must read series overall.

This is the third book in the Dirty Little Secrets series, and I have enjoyed them all. While this is part of a series, I think it can be read as a stand alone without the reader feeling like they are missing out on back story. Ryder and Hadley's story is full of suspense, intrigue, romance and plenty of steamy scenes. As with the females in all the other books, Hadley is a strong woman who knows who she is and what she wants. Ryder, like the other members of the Dominant Club, is sexy, caring and protective. These two battle plenty of obstacles to get their happy ever after, but this book will keep readers turning the pages to see how their story ends. I love how Stacey Kennedy set up Gabe's story perfectly at the end of this book.
