This has been the weakest book in the series so far for me. Definitely still enjoyable, but I found Perdita insufferable most of the time and didn't find the polo matches as exciting as the show jumping in book 1. Speaking of Riders, if you struggled with the animal abuse in that book, don't read this one as it's a lot worse.

Despite this, the book read quickly, it was nice to follow up with some of the char cters from Rivals, and I was cheering for everyone by the end.
