it was gay, and i got the fluffy gay relationship i wanted so i am satisfied !!
so the things i liked:
- gay
- the classic enemies to lovers trope
- royals!
things i didn’t like:
- im so sorry but this read like a cheesy wattpad fanfic. i’ve genuinely read better written fanfics than this
- the enemies to tolerating each other was well written but the i love you at the end? came outta nowhere. another 100 pages of developing their relationship and i would believe it
- it was honestly the writing, just not v good
- millie choosing to go to scotland because she liked Brave and Braveheart are not good enough reasons to move to scotland pls
- the ending was so rushed?? it just ended without them resolving their fight at all??
but it was cheesy n cute!! i loveeed the premise i just wish the execution was better

You know what I needed after R,W & RB? MORE royalty falling in love! Nice and gay, like I am, I was also REALLY excited because it's F/F! Yes! <3
It was such Fun! Towards the end, when the romance picked up I got what I wanted out of the book, romantic moments and the gushing over two ladies who fall in love.
Alas, the book took a bit to pick up for me, and I think that might be a pacing problem. Thus, it's not the strongest book, plot-wise.
But I can't deny that I liked it, and that it was a good balm this weekend when I'm stressed with finals. I recommend with the stipulation that it's very conventional, but that some moments in this made it worth it. <3

Sapphic romances own me at this point, and I'm not even mad about it.
