 Honestly the first half of this book was pretty alright and might have gotten 4 stars if it was its own story with a developed ending, but everything that happened after the halfway point made me like it progressively less. Internal inconsistency, wild mood swings from chapter to chapter, bizarre relationship dynamics, and every consequence the protagonist faces for her actions immediately resolved with no effort or lesson learned. And that's not even getting into the consent issues!

man, I have literally no idea what this was. interesting premise, music and the goblin king, and I liked the atmosphere but everything else was just argh. 

the writing was confusing, and the romantic scenes were so badly written. the plot was confusing and all over the place, and I have no idea what the point was. it was just so cringy to read
