More insight into Chance was appreciated, but I didn't enjoy the story.

A dying man getting screwed just before slipping off into oblivion, umm no thanks. I'm glad Chance brought Eddie some final peace, but it's not my cup of tea and not in the least bit romantic, it was just sad.

Eddie is in an hospice having less than a week to live enter Chance sans sweet shop. One if not the best in the series Petit[es] morts. Eddie is very likeable and his end of life story is very affecting, for him happily ever after is not possible yet happiness is around the privacy curtain.

This was my favorite of the stories - so sad and beautiful.

Oh, I love this! I love how we get to understand more of Chance, how sweet he really is to Eddie, how he gives him the sweetest goodbye.

And Eddie, I love how he keeps wondering and doubting about the consequences about using the whishes that Chances' pen gives him, and how he agonizes about what will happen to the pen once he's gone.

This is a gorgeous story, so full of meaning, poignant and beautiful. Simply loved it.
