First of all, let me start by saying that this is not, and cannot be, the review of all ten wonderful books that make up this awesome collection. I chose to review the last book, which is Not Quite a Rogue by Tanya Wilde. Well, I LOVED it! While I knew many of the other authors, Tanya was a new author to me, but now I’m determined to look up her other books, because this one is really very good. There is fun, there is romance, there is a mystery, a riddle to be solved, there is everything you are looking for in an historical romance book.
Harry is a new earl, mourning the death of his father and at the same time having to deal with the financial problems he left in his wake. His mother compiles a list of heiresses with large dowries whom he could marry to improve their situation… Of course he’s honorable and wants nothing to do with the list! But the list accidentally finds its way in the infamous betting book of White’s and sets in motion a series of interesting and funny events…
Ophelia, of course, is one of the heiresses on the list and a real force of nature! And she’s set out to discover what this list is about…
I highly recommend this book and all the collection of course! Great authors, great bargain!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
