Though the plot was a little predictable and the characters had to deal with one misunderstanding after another, which can be frustrating, I did enjoy reading this book.

Skimmed through towards the end. The miscommunication trope was getting on my nerves. FMC spent 95% of the time crying, MMC says the most horrendous things and slaps with it a cute little “I didn’t mean it, I’m sorry”.

I know I shouldn't like this book... but I still love it. It makes me hope I guess. Don't know why.

I did not finish this book. I made it to chapter four which is when the potential for good literature turned into smut. This is not the classic fiction I envisioned through the reviews. I thought maybe by the title it would have more substance, but it's just terrible.

I love Regency romance. LOVE them - a lot. This book though, was terribly redundant and annoying. I finished it just so I could tell people how bad it was. The only thing I liked about it was the prologue and that there was a happy ending. Who needs an unbelievably stupid hero and a heroine who's too afraid to say what's on her mind? I don't, that's who.
