So cute! I loved the twists on the fairytale and the further world building. The magic in this series is really cool. I felt for the characters and even though it took me a little bit to really get invested in the story, I would recommend it!

This is an adorable re-telling of Cinderella.

Not dark at all and no spice but filled but the cutest little love story out there.

The characters all carried their own strength, and all of the relationship were so sweet.

Some of my favorite cutesy feel good quotes:

“Love is freely given, not something you have to earn."

"You are also one of a kind, Mira.” “We can’t all be one of a kind.” I chuckle. “And why not? We are our own women, and as such, unique in ways that are specific to us. We just have to make sure to remember that. And remind everyone else.”

"Isn’t that a fear everyone has, not being good enough to love, to fight for."

Russian inspired Cinderella retelling. It keeps most of the essentials of the story but not all of them so it wasn't as predictable as other Cinderellas. I enjoyed it a lot.

This gave me a ever after Cinderella story vibe, in the way the MC talked and interacted with each other. Which I absolutely love! And then adding the spin with the Russian fairytales element mixed in made it even better. I love a good te-telling especially when they bring in elements from stories and fairytales of cultures that aren’t mainstreamed via companies like Disney.
