About midway through is the very graphic animal death scene. I skipped it and didn’t miss anything.annieisawesome's review against another edition

I almost gave up in the first chapter when someone is reading a book that the author had written. I loved the twists and turns. Didn’t like a lot of other things. I did predict it pretty early on, but it was still a fun ride. The author is not great at actually making the characters engaging, and there’s a lot of unnecessary parts, but the over all plot is fun.

This was a pretty fun read, and is the exact kind of shit I’m into. The main things I didn’t like is that the author mentioned everyone’s weight, like, A LOT. And also there were some repetitive words and phrases that caught my attention, but it wasn’t as distracting as the weight thing.
