I just reread this book of precepts. I read part of this to my friend over video chat before I went to bed. Then she went on rambling about her Hitler theory, so I quite the call and went to sleep. Finished it this morning when I woke up.

I really enjoyed the everyday messages and the letters at the end of each month!

Remember Mr. Browne, the teacher in Palacio's Wonder, who gave his students monthly precepts to ponder and then assigned them to write essays about the precept? Palacio has brought him back with the nonfiction quote book, 365 Days of Wonder, Mr. Browne's Book of Precepts.

Maybe now I will be able to remember that precepts are words to live by. At the end of every month are a few pages written by "Mr. Browne" giving additional advice and clarification on the topic as well as tips on how to be better students, or humans.

As well as some beautiful by intellectuals, authors and famous people. Palacio has included original precepts and artwork by readers, many of whom are elementary school-aged children. Most are distinguished by the type font looking like hand-written notes.

Excellent. Still love Wonder.

Obviously filled with plenty of cliches, but also with many phrases that bring to mind the fresh perspective of a young mind.

A sprinkle of the Wonder world was nice and I loved the overall message of, when you have a choice between right or kind, choose kind always... so true

This was a book to own, to take notes in, the chew on for a while. I found many people to research and much to like about it.

Wasn't a huge fan of those that were "made up" by students. Some, from the book, were, in my mind, just reworded copies of other famous quotes that Palacio liked. And other could have been replaced by a solid quote from J.K. Rowling or others like her. But it was good.

Got this book for two of my sweet students, they embody kindness and are going to change the world one day. This book was a good collection of quotes that are inspirational.

I’m a sucker for a good precept, especially after reading RJ Palacio’s book, Wonder. I really began enjoying how each day had its own quote to read, with little intros from the fictional English teacher, Mr Browne. Then. Then I realized how very many authors of said precepts were men. It’s overwhelmingly filled with precepts from men in general, and white men specifically. It became distracting, to be honest. The index in the back included profiles of those who said or wrote the original quotes. That was a welcome addition for interest, but definitely made it clear whose voices were included, and which were not. Disappointing.
