I always enjoy a new book from Sarah Knight! She’s blunt and to the point but helps you’d simplify how you can handle certain situations without causing you more stress. Funny and quirky and highly entertaining with her words of wisdom may just be the perfect book for you to start in the new year!

This book will definitely give you the tools you need to learn to say F*** NO to things you don't want to do, can't do, and/or shouldn't do. However, having the balls to actually say it when you should is a different story. But, I will definitely try to use some of these tactics in my own life to try to work on my own happiness in 2020 and beyond.

Meh. For me, the gift of reading this book was coming to the realization that it arrived a few years too late for me and that I'm much better at saying no and already employ many of the suggested approaches. IF, however, you struggle with people-pleasing, overachieving, and/or FOMO tendencies that result in blurting out YESes that you immediately regret: read this book.

So I have not read any of her other books but parts and seeing them in bookstores. I'm also no a huge self-help book reader but I was interested in this one since its with saying No and well everyone and especially females need help with that, since we are told to say yes no matter what so I was willing to try it.
I like how its broken down into what type you are, which will help with why you don't say no. Then it goes into areas of your life, invites, dinner parties, work, family, dating, ect. By the end it got very repetitive, and I did more of a skim towards the end for areas in my life and just look at others. It did have some good ideas I will put into play and not feel bad about saying no to things I hate doing. It did miss some points as it was very big city and corporate America so some people will have a hard time with it, because some of it you just can't do at some work places and in some towns or families. But overall it was a good starting point for a lot of people!
*Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, in exchange for a honest review- all opinions are mine.

I am sad to say that this book really wasn't for me simply because I don't seem to have the social, familial, nor employment life that those being addressed in the book do. I did find a few pointers, the book was a pleasant, entertaining, and quick read, and I can see how it can help others in numerous ways. I even read this twice just to ensure I wasnt simply in denial about my honest ability to say no. More often than not, though, I have little to say no to, therefore have rarely had trouble saying no as an adult.
Thank you NetGalley & publisher for the ebook ARC of this title in exchange for my honest review.

So, long overdue review, because I believe that when you're reading books like this, you need to be open to the information. I'm in a space right now of desperately needing to say no more often and finding it super challenging to do so, so it seemed like the right moment.
This book... was not it. The concept is good! The first couple of chapters are good! After that, it began to feel super repetitive and just meh. I think the message could've been easily delivered in a much shorter book.
