This was a great short story that gives some insight into the Skyward series, written many years before its release. It's hard to imagine how much work Sanderson puts into his series.

I don't always love Brandon Sanderson's short stories/novelettes/novellas but I really enjoyed this story. It's a fun sci-fi mystery written early in Brandon's career. I am so happy that he went back to sci-fi and gave us Skyward! This one is sort of a prequel to Skyward and will spoil some stuff for that series but it definitely stands on its own if you aren't interested in Skyward. It's not his most polished work but very fun and very different.

Very enjoyable short story that has a lot of worldbuilding packed into it. A great way to enter the Skyward realm i think.

Really good. I liked how this wasn’t YA, but was still part of the series

This short story mixes sci-fi with a bit of suspense, detective stories and the supernatural. It has a very interesting setting, and the biggest problem the story has is that it ends too fast. Thankfully, we are getting more of this universe now, thanks to the Skyward series.

Me gusto pero no se que tanto entendí.
A lo mejor había que leerlo después del primer libro? Idk

Dos meses después y leyendo el segundo libro de la saga CREO que entendí esto

This was an absolutely fantastic short-story that leaves a bitter aftertaste for the simple fact that it wasn't a longer story. I loved the universe Sanderson created but, once again, I felt hungry for more of this story. I really liked the characters he introduced (even the bratty Coln Abrams), how they interacted and the Sense system. While this story closes quite nicely, you can feel the potential it has for a bigger plot.
