I listened to this as an audiobook. Some great business lessons, and I particularly enjoyed the models and strategies that DeMarco said to avoid when building a business. I will remember the pyramid building story forever! Great book on money mindset.

I listened to the Audiobook read by the author. He was a really engaging narrator (5/5!). The book itself felt very repetitive until the final section which I felt had tangible advice. However, the author flew through this tangible advice as compared to the beginning part of the book. I think the author is trying to heavily persuade people who have never considered entrepreneurship to consider it. If you have already made the decision you might want to start a company, this book might have some interesting thought experiments, but overall feel unnecessary.

This book is the reason why i made a vow to myself by 17-May (the day i started this book) that

"Dear me in 6 months,
I am going to make you
so damn proud."

3 star for the writing. What valuable in this book was the idea. It is easy to digest, every story help you to integrate the idea into your mind.

Overall enjoyed the theme and structure of the book, however, the audio reading needed improvement. The author rushed through several parts and mispronounced so many words it proved to be a distraction.
