Wolf shifting cowboys? Absolutely count me in and I don't regret it one bit. I probably should have paid a bit more attention that this was book 4 in a series. Thankfully Kait did a great job saying who was who, but curiosity definitely got the best of me, so I'll be going back to from the beginning. There were some holes for me when it came to the packs and the politics though, which I'm sure I'd have a better idea when I go back.

I really liked Sierra's character, she was a strong heroine that can hold her own. But my heart broke for her a little bit when it came to her love for Maverick. The angst lover in me was here for that element and I was eager to see how it would all unfold.

With that being said, I honestly didn't think it was going to take so long for Maverick to truly move past everything. Because he was so firm on keeping their status at just a marriage of convenience, it felt like we were just going in circles of him denying his feelings the entire book. And that took up their time to just BE together. I definitely found him to be the most frustrating.

Even though he was infuriating, I enjoyed this book quite a bit. This combo absolutely worked for me, so I'm definitely looking forward to reading the rest of the series!

Wow Sierra and Maverick have led complicated and heart wrenching lives. This series is fascinating and I'm looking forward to more. I'm glad this one ended so well.

Duty and protecting the pack are all that Packmaster Maverick Grey lives for. Sierra has loved Mav all her life but when he married another she puts her energy into becoming a warrior of the first order. Now Maverick is a widower and Sierra has been put in to become an elite warrior. When the elders deny her advancement because she is unmated they put together a “fake marriage” plan. But as any good story goes if you want to make God laugh make plans. I at times wanted to box both their ears for idiocy above and beyond but ultimately loved this tale.

CW: violence, blood, gun violence

I wondered how these two would get together. I really liked how Sierra and Maverick were with each and how well they fit. I got a little frustrated that Maverick didn't see how Sierra loves and wants to protect the pack as much as he does. I really enjoyed Sierra's strength and purpose. I think Sierra's solution to their problems was good. It forced Maverick to figure things out. I was impressed with his grand gesture.

Full Review posted at A Book Lovin' Mama's Blog

Fierce Cowboy Wolf is the fourth book in Kait Ballenger’s Seven Range Shifters series. Each book follows new characters getting their HEA. Who wouldn’t want to read about cowboys/cowgirls in Montana that are wolf shifters? I know I can’t get enough of this series.

I loved how this book had one of my favorite tropes, enemies to lovers. It also has some of my favorite characters; a grumpy/broody MMC with a kick-butt heroine who knows how to put him in his place. Overall, this book gets 4.5-stars, and I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

Standalone or Part of Series: It’s part of the Seven Range Shifters series by Kait Ballenger. Each book follows a new couple, but I highly recommend reading in order because you’ll miss out on previous couples’ HEA.

Trope(s): Marriage of Convenience; Friends to Enemies to Lovers

Would I recommend this book? Yes. I highly recommend this book/series to Paranormal Romance readers who enjoy Werewolf Shifter Romance and love the Enemies to Lovers and Marriage of Convenience tropes.

Up to this point I would say Cold was my favorite. No more. I went from hating the packmaster to adoring him. I wish the end was a little different, but all in all it was another fantastic read by Kait!

Good plot

This was a slow start with friends to estranged pack member/Pack master to ....

I liked the story I just felt it was fleshed out very backwards.
