Great read

I enjoyed this book tremendously. It has a few twist and turns but basically jack reach saves the day. I recommend all the jack reacher books. Just a personal note tom cruise is not a good jack reacher. Let the writing and your own thoughts create the jack reacher you see in your head. Have fun reading

I really liked the plotting of this one and the story had sufficient surprises and twists, but it took a dark, stomach churning turn at the end. Interesting to see Reacher actually have to deal with some injuries, even if they never really fully developed into anything too prohibitive.

Another great Jack Reacher tale, although I am not sure what the title means even after reading it.

Make Me was maybe a little better than recent Jack Reacher novels, but it's still not up to the standards of early books in the series. A decent read for Reacher fans.

Jack Reacher books are a sickness with me. They're formulaic and cliched. Yet, I've read them all.

If you're familiar with the film, High Plains Drifter (1973) you know everything about every 'Jack Reacher' novel written.

Can you imagine Lee Child has extended this troupe to twenty (20) books over almost twenty (20) years?

However, I read on. The stories are like endless episodic television-- a form of low-level intellectual, life-support.

3.5 stars for the plot, dialogue and a couple of action set pieces. But the book is at least 100 pages too long - contractually he has to produce a minimum of 100,000 words. As a result it’s very uneven and the finale in particular is pretty much thrown away. Lee Child claims to do very little revision and doesn’t allow anyone else to. Perhaps he should.
