The writing felt unclear and the art a bit cluttered. It could have been streamlined - but really a matter of personal preference. Some might enjoy the light-hearted art and the imaginative situations presented for the main character.

This is one of Evie's favorite books. When she first got it she carried it with her everywhere. She loves to tell me what color the dots are and I love reading the fun rhymes (and the silly things these Dots think Blue is off doing!).

All we know is that Blue Dot isn't here. But where is he? Is he at the moon? Why would he go to the moon? Is he a circus clown? He couldn't be.
As Blue Dot's friends ponder where he could be, lots of wild ideas spring up. When Pink Dot tries to explain, the friends get more and more concerned.
This is a brilliant take on the game, telephone. With beautiful illustrations, I can see children laughing as they witness the series of mix-ups.
