Second Grunberg and same experience as the first one (Blue Mondays): what a sad world, even though the young Marek moves through rather wealthy circles in Vienna (not coincidentally with the same type of neurotic women as Freud got on his couch?). Again a sketch of an adolescent boy with a very negative self-image that discovers the world, of course obsessed by sex. The baldness of the title seems to stand for "scant".
Grunberg can certainly write; perhaps he even can be situated at international level. But his poor worldview, his clinical style and his scant message: not my cup of tea!

Very funny/disturbing/tragic/ironic tale which may in fact become a movie (I have insider information). I'd recommend it, but only if you don't mind a couple of embarassing, albeit hilarious sex scenes. I won't say anymore...
