Sadly, I found both The Little White Bird and Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens to be absolutely unreadable. The third book, Peter And Wendy, however, was a delightful fancy that indulged in childhood whimsy while also recognizing the cruelty and short-sightedness of children. I might give that one five stars, so seek out an edition that excludes the two earlier tales.
