This book is complicated.  On one hand there is a group of long time friends on the other hand they are all somewhat toxic to each other.  They go on a vacation because the highly insecure and self absorbed Pia wants to go.  None of the others has backbone enough to make other suggestions.   They end up going somewhere that none of them are properly prepared for, they don’t make certain they have basic necessities with them.   They have an accident and then fall into trouble the whole time emotionally abusing each other instead of pulling together.

It wasn’t a pleasant group.

This was fine. It was fun while reading, but I won’t ever think about it again. Nothing really happened until halfway which was kind of annoying.  Also when things did happen it was not what I was expecting and I didn’t really like the direction it went. I thought the friendships were actually annoying even before hell broke loose. It was a fun quick read though.
