Abridged Audiobook
Almost dropped it at the beginning but one of my favorite YouTuber Anda Kent recommended the book, so I pushed through. Glad I did! It wasn't as gory as American Psycho or Gone to See The River Man, but still shocking and graphic enough, so tread with caution. The abridged version was nice, it was short, gory and creepy. A fun read. If you're into extreme horror I think it's best dive in unprepared (The narrator caught a cold around 80% through, and recovered around 90% mark. Just a heads up!)

Do you like being stressed out about lost in a jungle kind of book? Oh boy do we have the book for you. The book is actually well written. But there are a lot of weird parts that made me go well I can't wait to be rid of it. I hated as a Latina reading about descriptions of Mexico from a WASP perspective. Parts of the text made me feel hated and gross. Take that as you can. The horror is there, but there is also a certain amount of inevitable predictability.
