Another great addition in a series I really enjoy. I have to admit I do get frustrated with numerous characters throughout this series but the mystery and the intrigue keeps me reading. I love the ongoing theme that no one is above redemption. I love that demons can be nice people and can love others. I'm not a fan of the on again-off again Seth-Georginia relationship. It's been explored enough, please move on. The same cast of characters that don't grow or mature is a bit stale also. Don't be too turned off by that though, I read this book in one sitting. I absolutely had no idea who was behind trapping Jerome, and I couldn't stop reading as Georgina got closer and closer to the truth. Richelle Mead can tell a mystery as good as anyone. This book is definitely a page turner, even with all of the Seth, Maddie, Dante, and Georgina relationship drama. Roman is finally back, which is great, and the satanic cult introduced is fun as well. I would have liked to see more about Georgina's contract loophole that was mentioned in the previous novel, but I'm sure we will get to that eventually. If you enjoyed the other books in this series this one will not disappoint. More please!

That ending. THAT ENDING!!!! That cat has to mean something. Does this imply that Nyx's visions were actually true? This is gonna drive me crazy duh.

I was unhappy at how the last book in this series ended and I am not sure I am any happier with this one. I love Georgina and Seth, but their story keeps getting more and more complicated. I really enjoyed the storyline of this book, but I do wonder why Georgina is always the only one who investigates these things! I am intrigued at how her dreams from the previous book seems to be advancing. Can't wait for the next one.

Great mystery. Red herrings and all. The whole Seth thing is making my heart hurt. The universe better hold up its end of the bargain once Georgina gets her act together.

Well this is just great. Seth is worse off than he's ever been. I know why Georgina did what she did at the end, but it still sucks. It's pretty much the same thing that Seth did in the previous book. I already know the big secret is going to come out one way or another. They have to tell Maddie the whole truth. I liked the book but certain situations definitely bugged me. There's not much more that I can really say but I can't wait to finish the next book.

Georgina will always draw me in. I’m pretty sure this one was my favorite so far.

More like 2.5. It was kind of a struggle for me to get through -- it picked up a bit in the last 50-75 pages or so. Not sure I'll read #5, though. Kinda disappointed. :(

Felt like it dragged a bit. Could have been tightened up.

SpoilerThe local demon (and Georgina and the rest of the band's boss) gets kidnapped, and the immortals lose their powers. Which makes saving said boss more complicated.
Quite nice; end cliffhanger made me read book 5 just after it.
