I really enjoyed this book more than i expected to. I read most of it in a day because i wanted to know what happened next. I loved getting to read hester’s diary. I saw some of the twists coming and some surprised me which I think was intended. I mean the first physical description of yves was enough to reveal his nature. One of my complaints is involving this as I don’t feel that his deal was dealt with enough for my liking, like I wanted him to talk about his intentions and story a bit more at the end. I found the ending mostly satisfying although I wish we could have revisited saxen in the epilogue. I think that this book is worth a read and I found her imagery very effective.
