Not my favorite Patricia Cornwell book, although it was an ok read. I don't think I like this new style of hers where everything is written in third person. Just didn't flow well for me. I'm currently reading Book of the Dead and like that one better.

I used to loooove Cornwell's Scarpetta novels. It's been a long time since I've read read any of hers and this one (not a Scarpetta) was certainly nothing special. I was thankful it was only short.

This is probably the most boring book by Patricia Cornwell I have read thus far.

Better than the first book. I think she should have made it a little longer so that the plot wasn't so rushed.

holy crap, this book was SO awful, i couldn't finish it. PC has totally lost her ability to tell a story, to develop characters. she needs a wakeup call before she even thinks about putting out a next book. she basically has ruined the scarpetta series, and now is just putting out drivel for the $, since she has the name to back it. VERY disappointing!

I was really disappointed in this Patricia Cornwell book. I couldn't read the Scarpetta series fast enough and this book was just a chore.
