Another Mex-Aud Lib suggestion request granted!

Wish you could ever go back in time and undo something? What if you could? Interesting premiss, isn't it? Only here the history you know might not match and just what misstep needs correcting can get confusing!

I find it annoying that I need to continue the story online because I just skipped the online stories for the next books.

What if the Civil War lasted for 15 years? What if the Underground Railroad was nothing more than a footnote in history? This is the world that Riq, Dak, and Sera must save us from as they travel back in time to 1850. As they fight to correct history, we also learn more about Riq and his own family stories, and why this mission is vital not just to the world as a whole, but to him personally. The third book in the Infinity Ring keeps the series going strong. A must read for historical fiction, as well as science fiction, fans. Recommended for grades 4-8.

Meh. Emotional and hard to read at times. Made me sad. 2.5 stars.

This title in the series will probably make more sense to elementary school students, since they actually study the Underground Railroad and have heard of Harriet Tubman and abolitionists.

I liked "The Trap Door" much better than the previous book. I was a caught off guard a little because the book started after skipping ahead past where the previous book ended. I thought I had missed a book and I had to double check. Once I realized that I did not miss something, I kept reading. This one is set up before the Civil War in the time of the Underground Railroad. It was by far my favorite book so far in the Infinity Ring series and I hope they continue to keep getting better from here.

Another adventure with Sera, Daq and Six as they travel to 1850 and are swept up into the Underground Railroad and a slave trade. These stories are fast paced and offer snippets of history.

What a huge step up this one was from the second one!! I flew through this in one sitting. I loved the setting and I also loved the topic and how they dealt with racism. The writing still was a little juvenile for me, but I overall enjoyed this one! Excited to see what the next one is going to be like.
