Finlay is a must-read author for me and this latest is a highly effective thriller. Told in multiple POVs, Finlay's three MCs are dealing with trauma and secrets from their childhood so be sure to check CWs. I especially liked Jenna's character and storyline. The shifting timelines, while effective in explaining the characters backstory, could a little bit confusing at times if you're not paying close enough attention. Overall this book's fast paced, action-packed with plenty of twists and turns and is totally engaging.

I received this eARC thanks to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press, Minotaur Books in exchange for an honest review. Publishing dates are subject to change.

This one just didn’t do it for me. I listened on audio, if I read the book it would have been a real struggle to get thru. I wasn’t invested in any of the characters. I hate DNF’ing a book but just found myself wanting to hurry thru so it could be done.

What Have We Done is a mystery thriller with multiple POV. Secrets buried 25 years ago by a group of teenagers that were thrown together into a home for parentless teens. Their secret has remained unspoken over the years. Each child has grown into a successful adult. They kept their distance and never spoke. Until now. What has changed? Each one has had an attempt on their life. Forcing them to face their unspoken and shared secret. Thank you NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for ARC read in exchange for my review

I was immediately pulled into this Alex Finlay novel by an action-packed opening. The action never let up, and in the alternating POV chapters, each character's back story was filled in, making the book more captivating. Jenna, Donnie, Nico, Ben, and Arty knew each other when they were young kids. They had lived in many foster homes and wound up in Savior House. Things happened, and secrets were agreed on, which could never be broken.

Action is the name of the game in this fast-paced novel. With the death of Ben, the plot unfolded with seedy characters and the FBI chiming in to try to understand what, why and who created havoc in the present and the past. I enjoyed every page. This is my first Alex Finlay novel, and it won't be the last.

Many thanks to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for the advanced copy of the book.

A wild ride until the very end. Whenever you think you have a grasp on what’s going on, it changes. Well done. A must-read for thriller lovers.

This one could be my favorite one so far from Finlay. His previous work I have enjoyed a lot, but this one gets the price. So complex and enthralling. I was at the edge of my proverbial seat while I was reading this. Unreliable characters everywhere. The guys particularly were very dislikable. Secrets everywhere. So much tension and action. I could see the movie in my head. Ugh, so good. I had the time of my life.
