Although Double Dare features some fetishization of black men, it does craft a unique menage that is a satisfying and steamy experience.

I hate mmf books where the mm couple relationship is so fleshed out and dynamic and the female is entirely superfluous. Also Quinn, the fmc was in her thirties however acted and sounded like an immature teen most of the book. Also tired of the over used my rich parents are just the worst but still control my life trope..ugh this is a no thanks for me. I just kept hoping the guys would dump her and get on with their lives.

If you are looking for Spice, this is probably a good book, but if you are looking for some plot, don't bother

Author did great job of tackling race and gender.  Scorching love and tender.

I picked up this book because of a recommendation not thinking anything of it. I listened and enjoyed it, and then I went to review it on GR and found I had already read it.

It is interesting because I don’t remember reading it and usually I do, but I will say it was pretty great there are parts I am not completely sold on and parts I loved. There were a lot of sexy times. So if you in the mood for some MMF this has the story and the sexy times.

For me it’s all about the story, I want to know how they find a third if they want a third and why. How each person brings something new to the relationship I love that. Because they could have chosen to stay a twosome but they both knew something was missing. That is why I love MMF so much.

I wanted more from the end. I think Quinn was acting a little selfish and that whole coming out part just didn’t work for me. But the rest was great.

I very much enjoyed the narration I think all three narrators did a great job. The growls… I swear swoon!

Double Dare is the first book in the Dare Ménage Series. Jeanne St. James is a new author to me and I picked this book since I have an audible subscription and Double Dare looked interesting to me.

Quinn Preston is dared to pick up a stranger while she was at a wedding by her best friends. Logan Reed ends up rescuing Quinn and takes her to his home. Meanwhile he already has a lover Tyson White an ex-pro football player.

A drunk Quinn let Logan know that Mr. One Night would be okay with her. But Logan was not happy with the fact that Quinn was drunk. After he takes her to his home and she wakes up the next morning he ends up having sex with her and then Tyson shows up and I am sure you get the gist of their get together.

I love ménage stories and this book was certainly hot with the scenes between these 3 people. I love Logan and Ty’s characters. I really couldn’t relate to Quinn. I just felt that she was selfish & a spoiled brat that needed to grow up. She did offer to pay Logan and Quinn back but again I felt it was a little too late. It should have never gotten to that.

I will pick up the next book in this series. For one thing I love ménage romances and I would like to see how I feel about the next ménage book to read. I give this book 3.5 stars.
