Miki has problems. I'm glad they were somewhat resolved. I feel so bad that she was being ostracized by her teacher at school for speaking against his actions towards another student (he kicked and threatened the other kid). And her family didn't know, so they thought she'd become a problem child and so she felt like she didn't have a place anywhere, and ran away to where Yuzu was. She wanted Yuzu, her cousin, to replace her at home, so they'd have a better child. But she still felt all alone after seeing Yuzu, Kippei, and Kippei's family, and tried to commit suicide. Kippei stopped her. Then she told her parents about her situation at school and how she was feeling, and thing are getting better for her now that she feels like she has a place again. It was a serious issue to talk about, and I'm glad it was addressed.

On a happier note, Kippei and Kokoro are now dating! But Kokoro has an issue with a boy from the baseball team. He confessed to her, and she said she was in love with someone else, Kippei, and that they were dating. The next day, after school, he said she should break up with Kippei because he was irresponsible, and forced a kiss on her. She tried to push him away, and he threw her into some desks. Then she managed to get out of the classroom. Poor Kokoro! That boy's behavior was so not okay!

This manga actually deals with a lot of serious issues, such as child abuse, bullying, and things like that, but balances them nicely with funny and cute moments, so it doesn't feel overwhelming or super depressing. I appreciate all of that. 4 stars!

This one got deeper than the rest. The story is already pretty intense (for a shojo about babysitting) but this one tackled some real problems in it.

There is a love interest introduced that is pretty pushy. I thought he was an interesting guy but once he did what he did, I got mad. No means no.

The Suicide attempt was handled decently. I’m glad the person is getting the help they need.

Pretty serious volume for a sweet story.
