I enjoyed this but it helped to have listened to this and seen the play. It is definitely a book I plan to re read.

Poetic and full of character. Both tugs on your heartstrings and leave you in fits of giggles.

i loved the prose of this!!! i’m itching to see a live production of it i do feel like it’s one that must be seen and heard instead of read but im so intrigued by the idea of how this play is portrayed on stage

I don't know how to rate this. But OMG, I had forgotten what a wonderful voice Richard Burton had. I was listening to this in the car and I could just listen over and over, regardless of what he is reading.

Under Milk Wood takes place on a single Spring day where the reader is introduced to, what seems, the entire village of Llareggub. We hear snippets of their wishes and desires and learn how they go about their day to day lives. By the end of the play, you feel as if you know these people and you can picture what will come next.

It was an interesting read, full of poetry and interesting characters. I am eager to hear this play aloud.

It was good, but definitely not really a book to read - even more so than most plays, this needs to be listened to. Unfortunately, I'm not very good at listening ...

I was initially a bit sceptical but found myself drawn into the day of the village. I think I want to live there.
