Micha was possessive the whole book until the MFM scene. I found it totally unbelievable that he would be willing to have a threesome with his friend and Riley. I ended up knocking a star off for that because it just took me out the book.

The rating is due to the over-the-top drama. I rolled my eyes often.

I didn't find a plot reason for Riley to be 16, rather than 18. Weird thing.

This book is for fans of Ashley Jade, Siobhan Davis and Rina Kent.

So much darkness in one book...love it!

This is the first book I've read by TL Hodel I came across this book in a book group, someone mentioned they had just finished it and was in a book slump. So I went and got a copy and I wasn't disappointed. I love dark romance and this book was definitely dark.
I loved Reily and her attitude. That girl no matter what sticks up for herself, so fierce.
Micha grew on me, oh what the hell I loved him from the first chapter.
Also the rest of those boys wow. Can't wait for there books. I also like how there is no cliffhanger, but the next book rolls over to the next couple.
Can't wait for Logan and Shelby's book next.

This just wasn’t for me. I couldn’t stand reading the h give in constantly to the H when he continuously forced himself and his will on her, and the physically abusive undertones. That really just isn’t for me. I did find that if I skimmed through to get the gist (that yep, she has no backbone) then the storyline itself was interesting enough with the characters and secret society. If you are into a h with zero self control and likes to be fully dominated about everything, you will like this one. It didn’t do it for me.

“I can pick any girl I want?”

A boy born to be a king picks his queen when they are children. While being her source of annoyance and a bully, Riley is still drawn to the cold and harsh Micha.

This book is a perfect start to the chaos and mystery of the Ravens! Micha is easy to dislike at first, but somehow even while you’re squinting in dislike you’re still wanting him to get the girl.

It makes Riley’s fight against him all the more enjoyable! The dark romance is wonderful, but the set up for future mysteries was well done.

Some parts of this story were amazing and others I struggled with. I loved the push and pull of Riley and Misha. I hated and loved Misha. The bullying scenes shouldn't have enticed me the way that it did but did they ever. My issues with the book came about because of the secret society. It just didn't make sense, even though I really really really wanted it to and that detracted from the story. Had that made sense, I would've ranked this book much higher because the suspense and push-pull of the characters were exemplary.

I will be looking for more from the author in the future because the good parts of a feisty girl and an over-the-top possessive guy we're fantastic.
