“Non posso farlo”

Volume interamente dedicato all’accettazione da parte di Meliodas sulla morte di Liz e la prima volta in tutto il manga che si vede Meliodas piangere o infuriarsi a tal punto, è stato una cosa che ha fatto vedere molte sfaccettature del protagonista. Poi Meliodas a ancora molti misteri da svelare per esempio perché Meliodas sa molto sui demoni e cosa successe molti anni fa quindi ora sappiamo che l’età di Meliodas è ancora più vecchia dei suoi compagni peccatori. Merlin rida il potere che gli ha sottratto quando c’è stato il colpo di stato a Meliodas che ora il suo potere complessivo supera i trentamila, scambia qualche battuta con i dieci comandamenti e macula per bene Galand facendo vedere che lui è tornato come prime quando li aveva traditi e sigillati. Poi ci sono altre questioni sollevate da Meliodas perché King e Eliane non hanno ancora le ali? Saranno dei mezzi sangue o non sono ancora sviluppati? e poi Hawk che un incrocio tra un maiale e un drago me lo dovete spiegare.

This was okay. Meliodas learning to control his anger in order to get his power back was interesting and it was nice getting to see the snapshots of his former life with Liz. King was also great and it was nice seeing at least one of the Sins (aside from Ban) question Meliodas about his agenda and where his loyalty lies. Everything was just okay-nothing special, but nothing terrible.

Training, distrust, power, resolve, that's what this volume contains. It keeps getting better and better.

I quite enjoyed this volume in general. The Sins visit the land of the Druids in order to become strong because you know how it went with Galand. Meliodas undergoes a mental training and through that, we learn more about Liz (it was mentioned during the tournament by Cain) and his past life in Danafor. The other characters also train to fight the Commandments. However, the main focus is on Meliodas and his past. The ending was great in my opinion.

I'm loving all the backstory! It's so fun to learn more about the characters.
