I love the message and content of this book.  However, I'm not a fan of the ilustrations.  Age suitability is probably year 2 and up.   It does have content about invasion and the stolen generation so teachers or parents will need to be willing to have the discussions around those topics.   But it is well done and emotive without being over blown or too intense.
