Another great story by this author!! A huge fan of how his mind works and the stories that come out, especially the ridiculous worlds that have clever parallels with our world. It's also doubly impressive that this is a standalone, a whole world and plot done in 400 pages.

I enjoyed Early Riser.  This was my first book from Jasper Fforde, and I loved his sense of humor.  I found myself laughing out loud throughout much of the book.  This book jumps you right into a foreign world and all the action that accompanies this.  I feel like this would have been a better experience for me if I would have read it in print, rather than listening to it.  It took me a few tries, but after relistening to the first few chapters, I was able to sit back and enjoy the challenging, yet fully enjoyable world.  He took scenarios that should have been terrifying and made them funny instead.  I would consider reading it again, now that I have my footing, just to enjoy all of the characters and possibilities.  I also would consider reading another book by Jasper Fforde.
