A good little teenage story, with fun characters, some funny situations, some less. Ishmael is the perfect teenager to be the protagonist of this little fable about the angst of teenage life. The whole Moby Dick thing is probably the least interesting of the whole story and James Scobie the most interesting character. It has the perfect recipe for its genre and does an ok job of denouncing bullying, bit could have gone further on this. I mostly enjoyed it.

This book could’ve been rated higher, however it’s not my type of book. Not much happens throughout the whole book, and not a deep insight to the main character is included.
