I don’t think I should’ve rated this one, I fell asleep reading it 3 different times. How can you create a story with so much kinky sex & still have it boring af?!

I tried to read this last year or the year before & I gave up. Every. Time. It. Would. Put. Me. To. Sleep.
At least I made it through this time.

It’s about Tucker & Maggie, childhood friends that kissed once & it forever changed them. Now that years & years have passed, they realize they both have the same kink, but Maggie is resisting & Tucker’s trying to go from 0 to anal in a day. He takes her to a club she’s clearly not ready for & she freaks out.

Then, we get drama about his past & her douchey ex. It’s very drama romance & I guess I just wasn’t in the mood. Plus you end on a cliffhanger about the family drama & you have to read Levi & Mason’s books to figure it all out. Gonna keep reading because she’s written some really good stuff before.

**Provided by Netgalley and Gypsy Ink Books for an honest review**

This is the my first Eliza Gayle book and I was impressed at her story telling.

There are a lot of books written about the BSDM world and some are told really badly, this is not one of them although it did take me a while to warm to Maggie.

Tucker I loved straight away, and with the almost cliff hangar ending I wonder at how the next book in this series is going to and who exactly it is going to lead the book. Will it be Tucker and Maggie again? Will it be Nina and Mason or will it be Levi and some other as yet unknown woman...?

In either case i shall be waiting to find out how the story continues in this series.

Very enjoyable read! I loved the push and pull between these two. This was a great way to show the difference between what Maggie had read about and what she actually understood, and I loved it!

More than just another BDSM story

I loved that Maggie and Tucker grew up in this small town, went to high school though they didn’t really know each other well, shared one unforgettable kiss, then come back together many years later. The BDSM provides the vehicle for some smoking hot sexy times, but the story is much more engaging and brings all of the feels. Overarching secrets leave you hanging, jonesing for the next book but the HEA here is still sigh worthy.

AWESOMENESS GALORE!

There is so much awesomeness in this story! Private club, intrigue, broken souls healing each other (slowly), mouthwatering chemistry, and so many emotions. Tucker and Maggie are a fantastic couple that hit plenty of bumps (and there are hints that there is more to come in Levi's story) but when they make up? It's explosive!

Tucker's Fall is the first in a new trilogy, Purgatory Masters, many of the characters in this book are from the Purgatory series and you may find some of the background to the story more enjoyable if you have read that series and know the characters from it, however this is NOT a continuation of that series but the start of a brand new one and can be read on it's own.

Tucker and Maggie, the hero and heroine of Tucker's Fall, knew each other as teens and shared what turned out to be a very memorable kiss. Maggie has returned to hide out from the bad press she was getting after being caught up in a raid of a BDSM club where she was researching for a paper. Tucker has a lot of his own demons to deal with regarding not only his past but the legacy he inherited from his father.

I loved Tucker, he has overcome a lot of negative things in his life and channeled all that negativity into his artistic outlets. He is not a strict Master/slave sort of Dom but more of a bedroom Dom. Maggie is harder to like she seems to have had some of her own issues besides the latest blow up but they really don't go into that as much as I would have liked to help understand her motivations.

This is without a doubt the first of a series of books and you are left waiting for the next one to wrap up all of the story. The backstory is woven into the story like clues in a mystery and you do not get all of your answers in this book. What you do get is a LOT of smokin' hot sex in a variety of locations and with various uses of bondage, toys and back door play.

I enjoyed the book, I felt like to much mystery was trying to be created with the characters pasts and that made for a more difficult read. There are many other secondary characters that I hope will be added to the series in the coming books, I would love to see Tuckers sister as a heroine in one.

I received this book in exchange for my honest review.
