I wasn’t sure I was going to like it for the first few chapters, but once I got into it I stayed up too late reading. . . Then couldn’t sleep as my mind tried to work through it all. Is Charlotte losing her mind (which would be totally understandable given her experience of the Blitz) or being hunted? Or is something else entirely going on? Even at the last 10 percent I really didn’t know where it was going. Very good.
