I was in absolute awe of Sofie's character arc and journey in this, so much so that I forgave the insta-love elements and too-perfect love interest. Kennedy Ryan can pack such an emotional punch in the most unassuming of plots, and really holds up a candle to the unfair standard we hold "perfect" women to when it comes to reporting sexual assault.
