I wish I had this book when I was a preteen so I would have understood my body, what is medically normal and what treatment and routine medical appointments should be like. I wish all young people, regardless of gender, to read this book and have the basic facts. There is nothing "dirty" about this book. I'm very factual and educational. I'm happy to have this and gained a greater understanding of my bodyknowh19's review against another edition

Todos/as/es deberían leer este libro para entender mucho no solo sobre la vagina si no sobre el cuerpo femenino, sobre las relaciones sexuales, las enfermedades sexuales y así

A few things I'm taking away from this book:
- Patriarchy. Patriarchy. Patriarchy. "Clean" and "fresh" vaginas are the norm. You are not dirty if you have discharge or the occasional odor. You're a human and a magical system is working inside of you.
- Your vagina and vulva don't need a lot of help. They've been dealing with childbirth and all manner of secretions since time immemorial. Anyone who says otherwise is likely trying to make money off of you.
- "Big Natural" is just as harmful to vulvas and vaginas (if not more so) as "Big Pharma."
- Don't trust what you read on the internet. Learn to do research and develop a relationship with a gynecologist that you trust.
- Misdiagnoses are common. Remember to keep track of your symptoms and get a second opinion if you're not sure.

Very informative, I would recommend if you have a vagina or are partnered with someone who does and want to learn more about your body, or your partner's body. The tone is lighthearted, so it's a pleasant and quick read.
This is not a general encyclopedia because it shifts so often to US medical system and data that advice could not be applied to your own country, but it definitely gives a good starting point.
