Wow. This book? God damn.

Levi Glaisyer is a fucking legend. Enne Salta? What a character development. But Levi, he has my entire heart.

I loved the grimness of New Reynes. It really pulled me in from the start. I feel like this book is really just a set-up for all the shit about to go down. But it was still pretty enjoyable. I couldn’t put it down.

I felt that the ending was a bit rushed though and a little too open-ended for my liking. But I guess I’ll just have to invest my soul in this series

A very exciting book with an intriguing,  diverse, and morally grey cast of characters. A unique take on a magic-based world that felt incredibly real. Can’t wait to dive into the sequel!

I have been curious for this story for a while so when I found it available during my audible trials I went for it.

I loved listening to this story and find out more about New Reyes, get to know Enne and Levi and see how their lives change with the two of them meeting each other.

Everybody is morally grey in this story and have their own agendas.

Now, I am already looking forward where the story moves from book one on.
