Not as moving as there prior book to me personally, but still very well written with a wonderful story. I found it lag at times and surge at others, but it did delve deeper into some of the side characters from the first installation, which is the one thing I felt was lacking from it. Though it felt a little disjointed at times and the pacing varies, I do think it’d be a nice reread to view things from different perspectives of why it was written in some ways quite differently from the first book, and why it honestly still works. The parts that hit really do leave a strong impact.
