Page turner written from a really interesting perspective. Really good pace throughout except for the last 50 pages maybe

3.75 stars tbh
the ending had me yawning but aside from that, i was locked in. i do have some discomfort with the way they portrayed the main character, a serial killer. it swayed back and forth between characters sexualizing + fantasizing about him, and then calling him disgusting and stupid. the chapters in his point of view were interesting, but i certainly preferred hazel’s and saffron’s the most.

3.5 ⭐️ rounded down

I had a hard time really getting into the book. Some of the stories inside of it were compelling but I did find myself only reading a few pages at a time or just my mind drifting, it didn’t hold my attention well. I usually can fly thru books but this one has taken me a month. I only got to about 45 percent reading it then finished the rest on audiobook. It is thought provoking and puts yourself in the shoes of many of the characters which I liked. A lot of the Saffy part of the stories is what I struggled getting thru. Worth a read but wouldn’t make it a priority.

I had a hard time putting this one down. It’s very well written- excellent plot & character development. She depicted antisocial & narcissistic personality very well.
