Each book in this series get more enjoyable--I've become vested in the story of Alison, her family and the ghosts who haunt her New Jersey shore guesthouse.

I enjoyed the story but it's getting a low rating for the unnecessary derogatory comments about the trans character - why????

I liked this installment because Alison finally sees her dad's ghost. The senior citizens drama group was funny. And after all the clues were laid out, I still didn't guess who did it. I just didn't see her doing what we found out she did. But the main thing was Alison now sees her dad's ghost. And I'm liking Josh. Please don't let him turn out to be a bad guy in future books!

Fourth installment of this ghost series and it's still going strong. This time Alison is tackling a very personal problem - why can't she see the ghost of her dead father? Why is he hiding from her? To find out the answer to that she has to help another ghost prove that he was murdered. The usual crew is on hand to help her out. Still lots of fun!
