I’ve never followed X-Men much and really only know just about as much about them that is in the movies, but with the new Ultimate titles coming out this one had a very unique look and figured I should check it out. I was expecting Professor X and Magneto and flying ships and mutant genetics but what I got was a story that seems to want to redefine the X-Men and take them in a brand new direction. Where once this seemed to be a sci-fi heavy team, there now remains a relatively spiritual and supernatural nature to the characters being introduced. There are heavy topics that are down to earth and that cut to the heart of intimate topics in our world - how like the X-Men! Really love what’s happening here and I genuinely don’t know where this is going but I can’t wait to find out!

Been a fan of Peach Momoko’s art style and she’s giving Armor the star treatment with this relaunch of the ultimate universe. Quickly went dark and eager to see how this all plays out

A fine introduction to this character and their backstory, which was quite tragic. Was not what i expected, but I’m looking forward to learning more about this universe. Very excited about the concept of an all female x-men!! Though I would prefer them to be buff adults, but perhaps there will be a time skip in the future?
