Mya's secret career finally revealed! If you read [b:Just a Boy Friend|56593855|Just a Boy Friend|Lucy Keeling|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1610117518l/56593855._SY75_.jpg|72514446] and/or [b:Just Friends|53294837|Just Friends|Lucy Keeling|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1588162875l/53294837._SY75_.jpg|81291657], you know how mysterious she was about it. But if you haven't, starting with this one shouldn't be a problem (I just bet you'll want to go back and see how Sophie and Marcus, then Polly and Bailey, got together in the previous books).
As the blurb remains vague about Mya's secret, I'm not sure how to comment without giving it away, so let's just say I really enjoyed following her and Smithy to Las Vegas and see how they interacted as competitors who are also kind-of-friends and obviously attracted to each other.
I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This book was just a massive big ball of fun. Romance, female empowerment, the bright lights of Vegas - it was an absolute hit with me. I had so much fun reading this and could picture every second of it. A fantastic addition to the Just Friends series by Lucy Keeling.

This book is so much fun! The main characters chemistry is absolutely sizzling and the romance utterly satisfying and swoon worthy.

Mya is determined not to be taken in by Smithy’s considerable charms and she’s not happy that someone so close to her group of best friends knows a secret about her that even they don’t know but when they both find themselves in Vegas at the mercy of the mysterious group, “The Suits” will she be able to keep up with her Ice Queen image or is Smithy the man to melt that facade?
It’s no secret that I don’t normally read romance novels but let me tell you, Lucy Keeling writes them in such a way that I just can’t help myself. Yes, there are still the tropes and cliches that would normally put me off but her natural style keeps me hooked in and rooting for these characters.
This is the third book in Keeling’s “Friends” series and throughout the first two Mya has been keeping her occupation a secret with a few little hints here and there as to what was going on but in “Just Friends in Vegas” we finally get the fully story and I absolutely love it! Mya is a total badass who has fast become my favourite of the group and this instalment is, in my opinion, the strongest of the three. Keeling’s writing just keeps getting better.
I love this group of characters that she has created and the bonds between them; they’re so relatable and remind me of my own group of friends. I also love the way she weaves all the characters’ stories together so we get to catch up with Sophie and Marcus from “Just a Boy Friend” and Polly and Bailey from “Just Friends” whilst still focusing mainly on Mya’s story and then there are also some little links dropped in that are clearly going to lead to Paige’s story in book 4.
This book had everything going for it; an extremely hot male lead who is also an amazing person at the same time, an endless amount of sexual tension that just builds and builds until the inevitable release, a badass woman making her way in a male dominated area and a fabulous Las Vegas setting.
One of the things I like most about Keeling’s writing is that the sex scenes always seem quite natural. There’s no cringey euphemisms being thrown around and I could actually picture the scenes really happening, which is why I try and read Keeling’s books mainly alone in the privacy of my own house as it can get awkward if you’re on the bus or at work reading about her characters’ sexy times!
“Just Friends in Vegas” is super fun, super sexy and super enjoyable.
