This series is really sweet and I loved that her grandpa was down again, he’s my favourite character. This one was all about becoming a teenager and there was romance in the air for some of the characters. It’s good to hear updates about dale too

This one isn’t as meaty as the others in the series, but it’s still cute!

Book 68 of 2024: Sunny Makes a Splash - Jennifer L. Holm & Matthew Holm
All of Sunny’s friends are away for the summer and she is still at home, and will be celebrating her 13th birthday. She decides to get a job at the snack bar to pass her time.

I think this would be a fun read for a pre-teen/teenager for sure. This story looks more at the experience of crushes and friendships. Again, I feel the depth of the first two books has been lost which is a shame, but enjoyable nonetheless.
