classic vampire elements combined with edgy new ideas. sassy and mysterious. Buffy the Vampire Slayer with a fashion twist.

A really fun and intersting concept suffers from a very lackluster execution.
Kate starts out with a lot of promise, but quickly fizzles into a run-of-the-mill character that has no redeeming qualities beyond being the one telling the story.

This was entertaining, and was exactly what I expected and hoped for. It's a fun combination of chick lit and vamp lit, more towards chick lit, and it kept me entertained till the end.

Chicklit meets buffy in this story of a girl who takes on a job in a fashion magazine one summer and finds that the job comes with some very special trials and tribulations.
It's vaguely unsatisfying, but a quick read.

This would be a great beach read. It's about a young woman who gets an internship at a fashion magazine called "Tasty". She eventually begins to suspect that the magazine's editorial staff are vampires. The book is very funny, skewering the fashion and publishing industries.

In the vein of The Devil Wears Prada, the fashionistas are vampires. It was entertaining and mindless.
