This was seemed a bit more low key and setting things up for the following volumes.

It still feels like Yamazaki is laying down more threads instead of tying them up, but I'm all for the mystery being presented.

I am really enjoying these volumes of Chise at the college. As she grows closer to her classmates she realizes that some of them, who came from "better" families, deal with what she had to as well. I think it's making her feel less alone. I love that she's making friends, and Elias is as well. Both of them are opening up to others. For a good while there they were they were the only ones that talked to. It's good to have more people in your circle.
I hope Chise can help Philomenia the way she was helped.
I do not trust that Grandmother any further than I could throw her, I don't know what she's up to but it can't be good.
